New Logo possibility, please tell me what you think

I have been thinking that my SewnAgain identity doesn't fit with what I do with the recycled vinyl billboards. I would really appreciate your feedback on this logo. Do you get what it means? Do you like it? Hate it? I really crave your input.

The inputs are the word "vinyl", my first name (Alison) and it rhymes with the word "finally". And of course there's the green recycle symbol cliche. I'm not sure about the subtitle, can you suggest another? Other possibilities: Stuff from Recycled Billboards; Recycled Vinyl Billboard Stuff.

Graphic Design Course is finished!

All my homework can be found at this location:

For my last bit of homework, I interpreted a painting that my instructor Liane Amendy did http://lianeamendy.com/, and gave it the graphic novel treatment.

Have a Beautiful Day Monster

This is my all-time favorite Sesame Street Clip, featuring Kermit and the Beautiful Day Monster.

Logo Design Assignment

In my Graphic Design class we were asked to design a logo for an Olympic games radio station. After I finalized my design I decided to make it look web 2.0-ish. It is due today so I'm not going to spend a lot of time perfecting it, so here it is, warts and all.

Non-Designer's Design Book by Robin Williams

This is an excellent book on graphic design principles. It simplifies it to four principles: contrast, repetition, alignment and proximity. Also gives insight into what all those different fonts are all about and how best to use them.
Great insight on creating newsletters, flyers, business cards, etc.
